if you could go back in time and live in any era, when would it be and why?

I honestly don't know if i would want to go back in time however if we're talking going forward then sign me up.

Although i wouldn't mind going back to the seventies and then subsequently writing every great film and piece of music since then before the original artists

I wish I was in my 20s during the 85-95 for the acid house and britpop eras. Beats todays nightlife.

id go back to about 1965 and take life again from there...

Anyway, as for going back in time, I think I'd like to go back to the late 60's early 70's. I could leave my bike out on the front garden without it being nicked. We could go off on our own and play without being kidnapped by some perv or attacked by gangs of feral chavs. Life was so much better without computers, the internet, mobile phones and iPods. The possibilities were so much more exciting back then

Oh.... and the sun always shone back then and we'd wake up to Ready Brek and go to bed on Ovaltine and milk had an inch of cream at the top of the bottle which my mum used to save specially for me and pour on my Sugar Puffs and in the winter Blue Tits would wait for the milkman to come and then hop on top of the bottle and peck a hole in the top so they could get at the cream and I'd have dripping sarnies at lunchtime and when I started school we'd have a little bottle of milk at about 10 before they replaced them with little pyramid paper cartons and sometimes if I was lucky I'd get to be milk monitor

Oh.... and we could read and write before we were 16

Those were good days

i've always fancied living a medieval existence for a period of time, i think its the brown robes/bandaged feet which appeal

I'd love to see a dinosaur, so about 65 million years ago, but i'd probably tread on a flower and change the fate of the world like that episode of the simpsons

I'd do a bill and ted and have a wander about and pick out all all the cool pe0ople from the past and make them do a gig!
