I think it'll be downstairs, it was when we played there a few weeks ago, had a good night to be fair, we were well looked after and the locals didn't mind us being there.

The sound was brilliant there, absolutely spot on, and the two bands were fantastic, very impressed with russian gundogs and king hermit were the best I've seen em. All in all it was a great night, but I a bit pissed and left ma cd in the pub, d'oh!

I thought the sound was horrible, especially for russian gundogs, every bit of sibilance just resonated my eardrums! Just all needed to come down a little, with more bottom end and a little bit of definition via micing up the snare top and bottom and guitars, but turned down considerably on stage.

It's a great venue though, bags of potential. Bands both played great.

turn it down says Victor Meldrew in the corner, its ruining our game of domino's!
