I found cape canaveral truely boring.

I was 14 at the time though and my dad took us away from the theme parks for it so i was a little frustrated.

Isn't it like watching a glorfied plan take off? It gets so far up then disappears.

the most exciting shuttle launch was the challenger, did anyone watch 'seconds from disaster' t'other night, was investigating that. interesting stuff

Not at all Jim, it was like a bright star rising from the earth and you could feel the heat from the 100 or so miles away that we were. Then it started to look like a comet, was awesome.
