Anyone else getting bored by how much shit people talk, how many invites to crap gigs or nights out you get or the domination it has over people's social life yet? I am, find myself going on there less and less now. It's a shame but it's kinda true that because of sites like that, nights out aren't as good anymore. There's loads of people i haven't seen in ages because you can just talk to people online. It's also making gigging more and more pointless. Oooooooor maybe people are just boring old farts!

It has huge positives but also negatives (basically what you said), almost half of my friends list is hidden now and I find myself wondering what's the point.

But it's still great for keep in touch with some people, it's also free texting and best of all it's great for sharing photos with everyone

Photos are another annoying thing about it though. Sick of having a camera in my face everytime i go out, so the "i need to feel popular" people can upload them on Facebook the next day.

I'm with Jim on that one, it's fucking annoying that. however on the opposite side, I forgot my camera at go karting yesterday,(which I might add I won) but cos someone else did and posted them on facebook, i NOW HAVE A COPY... Nice.
