| Not so much the game but the people who worship it when it's nothing more than an average shooter, there are so many great games that get ignored because all people wanna do is play this. | |

| I've played (and beat) it.
It was ok, better campaign than Modern Warfare 2's but the acting is pretty bad. It had some good ideas but the whole thing was always turned up to 11, I'd rather some more quiet moments to make the big set pieces mean more, instead it's just constant noise.
Worth the rental but nothing more, overated as fuck!
Although saying that, it sold 5 odd million copies IN ONE DAY! took like 300 million in that day too and right now is the highest selling first day game of all time, plus Activision are donating one million dollars to a military veterans charity.

| He's a bellend...just joshing.
ok 360 games, depends on his tastes and I'm assuming he already has the big ones (Halo, COD, Gears...etc) but some good games I can recommend are:
Batman: Arkham Asylum - damn near essential, my favourite game of last year, superb setting, acting and perfect use of batman / stealth.
Red Dead Redemption - Like GTA but in a western, MASSIVE game with great style and narrative.
Super Street Fighter 4 - not for everyone, I adore it but I'm a lifelong fan of it.
Burnout Paradise - Bit old now but the best racing game by far out there, huge speeds and crashes.
If he gets some taste and decides to play his PS3 these are exclusives he HAS to play.
Uncharted 2 - Superb story based indiana Jones style action adventure game, Tomb Raider but not shit, second to none.
Little Big Planet - adorable 2D platformer that you can literally make any type of level you want, fully create them and online sharing, ask Martin Orton about this one, he still plays it daily!
Heavy Rain - Absolutely not for everyone, but it's my favourite game of this year. Sort of an interactive based story/drama, you control the characters every motion and shape the story how you want, if you die, the story continues. It's truely genius but as many people hate it as they do love it because it's not a traditional type of game, more of an interactive film.
Killzone 2 - The PS3's rival to Halo, more gritty and less gay suits, fithy shooter.
I can name loads more but it all depends on what sort of games he likes really.

| For an 11 year old? I purposely avoided games like that cause it might be slightly daunting.

Dudley is one awesome character. Loving Chunners as well. Beautiful looking game, just too bad I suck at it.

| I would destroy you in everyway imaginable. I used to get nerds online using swear words so foul even I was shocked everytime I beat them. Id always send a message back saying "good game, nice to meet you too"... That never went down too well. | |

| Few others to check out (mainly for Rig's benefit)
Dead Space (1&2)
Resident Evil 4 in Space, think Event Horizon meets Alien story wise but with bad ass engineering weapons and tons of scares. The sequel is fucking superb.
Fallout New Vegas
Post apocolyptic shooter but in a massive free to roam world where dialogue and interaction really matters, basically a kinda shape your own character and story game that's fuckin' huge! one for the long haul.
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit
Make sure it's Hot Pursuit and not any other Need For Speed games because this one is made by the guys behind Burnout and it's insanely good. Fast as fuck arcade racer that's kinda cops vs robbers but with tons of extras, great online functions and leaderboard stuff too.
Assassins Creed (2 or Brotherhood)
Avoid the first game, it's shit! (wiki the story though because it's complicated) The two sequels though are utterly great. Set in Italy in the fifteen hundreds (but really in modern day and you're in a machine accessing memories of your ancestors) with an open world and basically about being a bad ass Assassin. The combat and free climbing are so superb in these games but there is a learning curve before you get really good, so give it chance.
