| Halloween - the one where the reality show goes back to the house - 10 (for cheese/ jump factor) The WIcker Man (original) for the sense of hopeless ness - 9
The 3rd floor - very gorey and jumpy - friends turning to enemies - 8
Original Friday 13th - they did not tell the actress what to expect so when the bad dude jumped out or the bloody corpse appeared, she genuinly screamed. - 7
poltergeist - scared of tv for a while then. - 6
Nightmare on elm street - jump factor - and gorey. - 5
Saw - 4
Hostel - 3
The shining - original. awesome tension and use of music and sudden horror - 2
Henry - Portrait of a serial killer - and any of the banned films from the eraly 90's like 'portraits of death' - 1 There is a whole genre that makes Saw look like sesame street.

Halloween Resurrection's a wickid film The original Friday The 13th is brilliant for one simple reason tha bit you're going on about in the end when he jumps at the women in the boat that bit always makes me jump

| How the hell has no one said Seven yet, only the best horror of all time (well...thriller i guess but it still counts)
The original Saw as well is great, except for some of the acting, premise wise those its excelent.

Although I loved Evil Dead II and Army Of Darkness. Yes!!..... One person with some class! The first Evil Dead was a real wicked horror.... brilliant. The 2nd was Sam Raimi's spoof of the first and was hilarious while at the same time retaining the really good horror element. The 3rd was a real tongue in cheek follow-on from the 2nd and again was totally brilliant. The comedy was worked in so well, you sometimes wondered whether it was comedy or just a sick and twisted horror. For years after the Evil Dead films, Bruce Campbell found himself being given roles where he would be hurt, because he just did 'being hurt' so well - it was almost 'slapstick' and you found yourself whincing at what the director and writers had inflicted on him. Highlight of Evil Dead II was the fight he had with his own hand - his own hand kicked the shit out of him! Funny as fuck! Excellent stuff
