Okay, assuming I just walked round my girlfriend/boyfriends and wanked over the cat/goldfish, what would be the other 344 tips to getting a life dude?

Thanks for all the suggestions peeps, I'll probably pop over and use John's electro kit to start with (if that's cool) cos I'm long overdue for a catch-up anyway. I will start downloading things if I can't get the drums right or need a specific sound, but I haven't got the patience to sit and do things like drum fills on the computer usually, so my laptop may go hurtling across Keresley Fields in an uncontrollable techno-fear rage.
