| BELIEVE IT OR NOT...
I watched Radiers of the lost Ark the other night in full for the first time, I have watched it before but never from start to finish cause it always bored me.
The results were...still boring! It just doesn't appeal to me what so ever!
Still, lent all four from my brother and I will watch them all and see what I think of the others.

Temple of Doom 8/10 (Thought this one was the darkest when I was young) 3 Last Crusade 6.5/10 4 Crystal Skull 3/10

| Book of Eli-5/10 Religious bollocks ripped of the apocalyptic setting of Fallout 3 that added a twist at the end to save it from being SHITE. | |

| I much prefered Temple of Doom, I think maybe the addition of Short Round and the cool mine cart sequence made it more enjoyable for me. | |

| I absolutely loved all the Evil Dead films - comedy genius! (except 1 which was the 'serious' horror as I remember).
The scene where he gets beat up by his own hand was hilarious.
And yes Dan, 400million IS an insane number of people. I can actually remember when all that was going on - it was HUGE news at the time. To get those viewing figures these days you'd have to have CNN filming aliens in studded rubber gear landing at Buck House and arse fisting the Queen's Corgis

I read that too. Although he did a good job of (500)DoS i'm not sure it would translate to big budget franchise, but hey Peter Jackson started out on Bad Taste (which is awesome) and went on to Lord of the Rings, so who knows.

"If chins could talk" or something like that? Campbells. Its good reading about filming Evil Dead. That film, although quite funny now, scared the shit out of me when I was young. That and Salems Lot!!

| Ok watched the other two.
The Last Crusade is alright, didn't enjoy it as much as the Temple of Doom but I liked the chemistry between father and son.
Kingdom of the Crystal Skull starts of pretty alright I thought, but then it just got retarded. Sure Indiana Jones has slight supernatural touches but the huge spaceship was completely uncalled for! Would it have been that hard to NOT have the aliens come back to life and fly away? just their remains would have been fine and the discovery alone is ending enough.
On the whole though, yeah they're pretty good and I guess i've missed out for a long time.

| Yeah I thought the Crystal Skull started off well then just bombed. CGI ants and Monkeys.....ARSE!!! Thing is The Trilogy before were all sort of Religious and Supernatural then to make another involving Aliens is almost going in the opposite direction to religion! | |

| City Of God 9/10 top film, a must see
Righteous Kill 6/10 thought a pacino/deniro combination would be mind blowing, disappointing
Sherlock Holmes 7/10 downey jr is ace but was let down by a plot that was...... elementary
Transformers 2 4/10 same as the first really, found myself waiting for it to finish
Rock n Rolla 8/10 great film, looking forward to the next one

| Just watched The Lovely Bones - 6/10 Unusual take on a serial killer movie - just didn't quite get me off though.
State Of Play - 8/10 - watched this one for the 2nd time and really enjoyed it. Political thriller with Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck, Helen Mirren and some bird.
Going back to old, old films though - I recently watched Dambusters and Escape From Colditz for about the 300th time - both 9/10 - proper classics - top hole old bean... Tally Ho
