| Echelon Conspiracy - not brilliantly made and a bit cliched but all in all pretty good concept The Forbidden Kingdom - Jackie Chan. Good fun The Kingdom - Excellent The Hurt Locker - Again excellent Testament - If you're sick of feel good films and happy endings, watch this one, it's thoroughly depressing The Contract - yet another Morgan Freeman film - pretty standard fare The International - pretty good Hart's War - really enjoyed this Outlander - aliens, space travellers, and vikings. Strange mix but strangely enjoyable Outlaw - excellent - a great feel good revenge movie The Day The Earth Stood Still - typical American moralising but a good movie nevertheless Training Day - another great movie with Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke in the main roles - a powerful mix |

I've only seen it once but I really liked that it was darker than all the other films too _________________ I love everything! Hated both of them, just really boring, both seemed like they could be good.
Ones i've seen recently...
Bruno 7/10- Ok, amazing in some scenes, crap in others.
Dog Soliders- 6/10, was alright, doesn't live up to the hype and too much football talk (zzz...)
The Hangover- 9/10, awesome.
Terminator Salvation- 7/10, Fantastic production and pretty solid till the awful, awful ending.
Transformers 2 - 6/10, on production, action, cgi and sound it would be 10/10, shame the plot is awful (and borderline racist in places)
I will NEVER watch Harry Potter, load of old shyte._________________ 'Thread of the year' and 'Biggest Know it all' Hermies 2009http://drivdac.blogspot.com/| Kid Icarus wrote: | | MarkyG. Lovely man and no poultry on his cranium. |

| The new Harry Potter - 3/10 - Dull, too long. Nothing actually happens until the very end (if your still awake) and even that is shit. We took our 6 year old daughter to watch it. She was bored too. She enjoyed the previous films but didn't like this one at all. My mate said its better if you've read the book as you can fill in the gaps. Well, I think 2 and a half hours is long enough to fill the gaps. Shyte. I Love You Man - 7.5/10 - Pretty darn good as I was expecting it to be weak. Fairly typical in the end but a nice bit of humour in there. A bit different. 17 Again - 7.5/10 - Put this on for the daughter but ended up really enjoying it! Old Zak Effffffron actually plays a good part in this. When he's playing the older version of himself he's very convincing. Actually plays it a lot like the Matt Perry part. Terminator Salvation - 5/10 - A couple of goodish scenes which got my hopes up. Shame it turned out crap. Wayy too many plot holes. The film just looked like a rough cut to me. Could have been good. It wasnt Dead mans shoes - 9/10 - Can't believe I've only just watched it! Splendid film. Can't find a fault with any part of it. The Big Lebowski - 8/10 - Some of the best characters in any film ever. Watched it again coz the mrs had never seen it. Pulp Fiction - 9/10 - Downloaded this in HiDef as the mrs had never seen it. Gotta say I enjoyed it even more the second time around. Classic. |

| Can't get with Tarantino - just find his films shit. Bit like Hitchcock in a way though - seems to be required viewing, and for the record, I find most of Hitchcock's films shit too. Sorry. |
