| Are they dying out? Seems like nobody bothers with either of them anymore. The novelty wore off prehaps? | |

| They still have their uses but Myspace lost a lot to Facebook which seems to be better for keeping in contact with people. | |

| Which is a shame because facebook is full of crap. To many jokey things on there, play pirates, play this quiz or that quiz, have a drink etc etc.... Where myspace was just straight forward. Plus you can personalise (spelling?) your page on myspace | |

| An amalgamation of the 2 would be great and I think Myspace are working towards it. But the damn thing is so slow on my computer and the amount of people not bothering with it anymore makes it a bit pointless. | |

| Agreed, remember when everyone would leave comments asking if people were going out on saturday and all that, then they figured out texting was alot quicker. So myspace became pointless. (unless your pimping your band out there) | |

| my only problem with facebook is the fact that you leave someone a wal post of comment on a pic etc, the whole of your friends list finds out about it.. | |

| I like Mysapce best but that is because most of my friends are from the 'older' generation and are on there most of the time.
Also because it is why I am here in the UK - but I Admit I don't spend too much time on it anymore - at some point bulletins about the last thing someone ate, or the jerk they just broke up with, they just become silly.

| MYSPACE IS LOADS BETTER THAN FACEBOOK. I use myspace daily. I might pop into facebook once in a while. Myspace is the easiest to contact bands with. I do most of my band hunting and promo on there.
You can check out a band dead easy on myspaz.

| Myspace is good for band, but for easy access and contacting of your friends facebook is far superior.
And the things that people don't like about Facebook can be avoided, like you can up your privacy settings so people don't see you talking to everyone else and the games stuff is only used if you want it to be.
The most annoying thing is having to add applications if you want to see someones results, or having to invite people to get your own.
