Is it only people of my age who get completely hacked off with things? Apparently it's a 'scientific fact' that as you get older you lose your tolerance for the small things you would have let pass in your younger days.

Or do those niggling little things get to younger people too?

Just trying to find out if I really am just a grumpy old bastard......

1. English - just basic communication. Is it too much to ask someone who is writing you an email to use correct English? I got an email a while ago from someone making an enquiry about t-shirts and it was written ENTIRELY in text language. I responded with an email that read "Thanks for your email. Unfortunately I only speak English..... and maybe a small smattering of French..... so if you could try again, this time using the appropriate spelling, punctuation and grammar for the United Kingdom, I will be happy to help".

2. Use of the letter 'Z' at the end of words instead of 'S' - NOT big, NOT clever

3. Supermarket shoppers in general - if you're looking at the baked beans on the shelf to the left, WHY are you holding onto your trolley parked ACROSS the aisle, in front of the shelf on the right?!

... and a whole lot more

Anything else?

No worries Sound, it's not you. I have tolerance for stupid bullshit.... It's not age. For me though it's working in hospitality that did it and the stupid fucking things people complained about..

Are you seriously gonna complain to me about the fact that you come to a Carvery restaurant and wonder why there's no chinese food on the Menu? Or come to McDonalds and complain there's nothing Vegan on the menu?

Or complain to me at my hotel's reception because the Taxi from the company YOU booked with arrived late?

Oh yeah, moan at me because I'm in control of the opening hours of EVERY take away in Rugby and you couldn't get a curry at 5am.

You don't think it's made me bitter do you???

SOund, I like this can of worms you've opened... ANyone else wanna share what really pisses them off these days?

Mobile phones.

They are TELEPHONES - used for dialling someone up and speaking to them WHEN YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY TO THEM. NOT for sharing every mind numbingly boring event in your dreary little lives..... "Joe Smith is currently waiting for a bus". THROW YOURSELF UNDER IT YOU SAD LITTLE TWAT - GIVE US SOMETHING ENTERTAINING TO MAKE OUR PATHETIC LIVES A BIT BRIGHTER!!

Young people everywhere have had their brains sucked out through a straw and had the liquified gunge transplanted into this little piece of plastic which takes anything slightly resembling human intelligence and regurgitates it as "TXT SPK"...... "sup m8 how r u".... AAARRRGGGHHH!!

Mobile phones are a COMMUNICATION DEVICE which people spend their whole lives NOT communicating anything relevant on.

I don't hate mobile phones - just how they are making a whole generation totally fucking brain dead and useless.
