got green flag roadside assistance cover with my car insurance, pay extra for it, got a problem at work, car decides it doesn't want to work.

phone green flag, "yeah you're covered, you can travel 10 miles for free", "10 miles, but i live 25 miles away", "ok, thats gonna cost you, £3 a mile".

"£3 a mile, but i have a take me home policy".

"yep, we can take you home, you can pay by debit card"

tossers! stuck at work, dinners in the dog, villa on the box shortly and a new clutch to pay for tomorrow meaning more time off work.

I got that green flag road assistance with mine too, only used it once but that was because i was a stupid bastard and drove home from work on fumes and then it wouldn't start the next morning Very Happy

The RAC do that aswell!
Someone smacked right into my old car in Birmingham . I waited an hour for them to show up and when one of them did the guy said " sory i can only take you 10 miles." Even though i have a full membership!
I was ticked off!
