Star Trek movie

I'm completely torn.

I despise Star Trek, always have however, i LOVE the work of J.J Abrams.

What's a guy to do?

Not for a couple of weeks according to the good people at Jetpackcomics.co.uk (good friends of mine go have a goosey)
im prob just gonna pick them all up in one book when it comes out

So i went back on my word and went to see Star Trek at the IMAX.

Imax is feckin awesome! took me a few minutes to simply adjust to the pure size of the screen but the experience was great, sound is also vastly superior to standard cinemas (something that normally irrates me)

The film however...was ok, a good action film and plot was kinda interesting but it's still fundamentally Star Trek and all the things i hate about it, some of the dialogue was horrid too (mainly the throw back lines for the geeks)

As a whole though, pretty decent.

So if it was on normal cinema it would have been pretty shyte then..

Well, average.

Only cause it's Star Trek though, as a normal film without all the dumb names and gizmos and the campy-ness it would be quite good.
