It'll come to you my son.

Just try and keep the rhythm while you're beating off and it'll all become clear.

You sound like you get enough practice, Mr "29-and-a-half"

Failing that, how about trying something new like...... GETTING A LIFE!!

Hope this helps.

NI battery is the drum machine of choice, assuming you have the host software like cubase.

battery's drums actually sound pretty god damn realistic too

Right. OK. Seeing as this geekery is obviously getting to epidemic proportions now, I have released a new fact sheet to help you guys out.

It's called "LIFE...... How To Get One In 348 Easy Steps"

I mean, having no drum machine ISN'T the end of the world!

Go for a walk

Get a girlfriend/boyfriend

A cat or a goldfish

Have a wank

ANYTHING!!

Just............ don't be............ SAD!!

Hope this helps

Okay, assuming I just walked round my girlfriend/boyfriends and wanked over the cat/goldfish, what would be the other 344 tips to getting a life dude? geek

Thanks for all the suggestions peeps, I'll probably pop over and use John's electro kit to start with (if that's cool) cos I'm long overdue for a catch-up anyway. I will start downloading things if I can't get the drums right or need a specific sound, but I haven't got the patience to sit and do things like drum fills on the computer usually, so my laptop may go hurtling across Keresley Fields in an uncontrollable techno-fear rage. See, this is why drummers hit things.
